GIVING YOUR FILM A LIFE BEYOND THE FESTIVAL CIRCUIT
Making a short film takes time, money and a huge amount of creative energy. But once the festival run comes to an end, finding an audience for your work can become much harder.
At Short Frame, we want to help change that. We work with filmmakers to bring their films to audiences around the world, giving them a life beyond the festival circuit and the opportunity to earn revenue along the way.
When it comes to selecting films, story is what matters most to us. We don’t believe a film’s potential should be defined by festival selections or awards. Wherever your film has screened, or even if it hasn’t screened at all, if it tells a compelling story, there’s a place for it at Short Frame. We’re passionate about connecting great short films with new audiences and giving filmmakers more opportunities to share their work with the world.
FAIR REVENUE SHARE
WE TRACK PERFORMANCE
Once your film is live, we monitor how it’s performing to understand how audiences are discover, watching and engaging with your film.
We use these insights to see what could be improved, adjusting thumbnails, titles and descriptions where needed to help your film reach a wider audience.
REVENUE SHARE
Your film earns advertising revenue as people watch it. We share 50% of ad revenue generated by your film with you, alongside 100% of audience tips.
We provide revenue information and make payments twice a year, subject to our minimum payment threshold.
WE PACKAGE YOUR FILM
This is where we really get to work. We carefully prepare every film for online release, from creating and testing thumbnails and titles to writing search-friendly descriptions and adding subtitles where appropriate.
Drawing on YouTube best practices and our experience building an audience for short films, we give every release the best possible chance of being discovered and watched.
